Tamo Ash Solid Flooring

A broadleaf tree native to East Asia, also known as Yachidamo. It features distinct, strong growth rings, with a grain similar to oak but without the tiger stripe pattern (the markings that appear across the growth rings). The wood is hard and resilient, making it well-suited for flooring. Its texture, reminiscent of cotton, complements both Japanese and Western interiors.

Tamo wood is a broadleaf tree from the olive family, referring to species such as Yachidamo and White Ash. Its colour tone closely resembles oak, but it features a more distinct and bold wood grain. It also has excellent paintability, allowing the grain to stand out beautifully even when stained.

Avaliable in different widths, finishes and heating compatible.
